Field Trip

The Y&H "Fun Committee" arranged for a field trip to the new office. Eating sack lunches on pavement in the middle of a construction site is how engineers and surveyors have a good time! Our current team was able to see the progress of the new office.

Pavement

With threats of rain, our grading and paving contractor decided to start paving this morning. There was light rain for most of the day, but it was dry enough to work and not too cold to pave.

Our "inspectors" were on hand to watch the paving operation. Thankfully the paving crew could last longer in the rain than the owners!

Thanks to Dan Foster and JWT for working in the rain and getting the job done before the storm hit.

The Mastermind

Our Architect, Irv Miyamoto, has helped us with the building process from site plan review to construction administration. His conceptual design was chosen out of five other local Architects. We have relied on his ideas and expertise with many of the choices for the building. His grasp of the construction process and hands on approach has helped keep the schedule moving forward.
