Front Entrance

One prominent architectural feature to the new office will be the front entrance. Irv Miyamoto designed this entrance cover to be a geometric object covered in curved metal. The framing contractor is nearly finished with the detailed framing that goes into such an object.

Office Views

Here is the afternoon view out of the new conference room. The power poles will come down for the construction of Shields Avenue. On a clear day, the mountains will be visible over the rooftops.

This is a picture looking down on the back of the office. The parking lot will be constructed along both of the southern sides of the office. The patio cover will extend out from the southwest side where the doors can be seen.

Front Door

The wall to the office entrance is under construction. The ceiling in the reception area will extend to a celestory window with two exposed beams. There will be a curved roof extending out to create a covered area at the front door.

Progress Video

Here is a short clip of the inside of the office. It looked like all of the beams have been installed and the roof construction is continuing.

More Joists

The interior space of the office is taking shape as more of the roof joists are installed. There are six of the nine skylights visible in this photo (thanks for the picture Chris). The bottom of the skylights are at the ceiling height for the large workspace at 14-feet.

Roof Line

The pitch of the roof can be seen with the beams attached to the south side of the building. The top of the exterior walls will hide any mechanical equipment on the roof.
