Cornice

Prior to the last coat of stucco, the cornice at the top of the building has been installed. This is made out of foam, shipped to the site shaped according to the plans and placed on top of the first layer of stucco. Once this is completed, the last layer of stucco will be placed.

Interior Offices

After waiting a few weeks, the interior door frames have started to arrive. The first six have been installed, allowing the sheet rock to be completed. The doors into each of the offices will have the door, a window above and to the side. The sheet rock can now be completed and wall texture started.

Ceiling

Sometimes it's just better to see the real thing instead of looking at the plan details. Brandon and Philip are trying to see what the ceiling tiles are really going to look like.

How many PG&E representatives does it take to meet at the site and discuss the timeline for power connection?

Stucco

The first coat of Stucco was applied to the building last week. The application of the second coat started today. All of the windows and doors were covered in plastic to keep the stucco material from scratching the finish. The weather is perfect for the curing of the stucco. It's great to see the finish product materializing after seeing the paper and wire for the past few weeks.

Roof View

The skylights and Air Conditioning units are all in place and ready for the weather. Brandon found the roof access and took this picture at sunset. The skylights have shades that can open and close with the flip of a switch inside to control the sunlight. The large work area is considerably lighter with the skylights installed.

All of the windows have been installed and plywood removed. The exterior doors are being installed now. The store front portion of the East side of the building is complete. The stucco should begin this week.

Nearly all of the interior insulation has been installed. Once the interior door frames are delivered and installed, the sheet rock can be finished.
